Central Coast Council developed a concept plan for the Gosford waterfront following the adoption of the Gosford Waterfront Renewal Framework in 2021.

The Gosford waterfront has been the subject of many studies and plans and there are many technical, financial, social and environmental complexities that need to be worked through – we have worked through a number of these with key stakeholders including the Darkinjung Aboriginal Land Council, Greater Cities Commission TAFE and University of Newcastle and we are excited to present them to the community for their feedback.

The revitalisation of the Gosford waterfront will boost liveability and economic growth for the Central Coast region.

The concept plan, which was available for the community to have their say on between 18 October and 1 December 2022, is thorough, well thought out and most importantly achievable.

Council is exploring opportunities to partner with the NSW Government in the delivery of this catalyst project for the Gosford waterfront.

Between 18 October and 1 December 2022 we asked the community to help shape the future of the Gosford Waterfront and get involved in the revitalisation of the Gosford waterfront by:

• Viewing the concept plan
• Reading the frequently asked question (available below)
• Registering for a virtual drop-in information session (community and business sessions were available)
• Attending drop-in sessions at:
  • Erina Library on 28 October between 11am and 1pm
  • Woy Woy Library on 2 November between 12pm and 2pm
  • Tuggerah Library on 3 November between 2.30pm and 4.30pm
• Contributing to and joining the conversation on the interactive concept plans and sharing your ideas, suggestions and opinions (now closed)
• Providing feedback via the online feedback form (now closed)
