Planning is beginning for the future of Karagi Point Reserve – have your say!
Central Coast Council has an exciting opportunity for our community to shape the design of Karagi Point Reserve, which is due for renewal in 2025-2026.
The Karagi Point Reserve in Hutton Rd, The Entrance North, includes a car park, foreshore and playspace, which is nearing its end-of-life. We want local families, caregivers and community groups to participate in the consultation survey so the final design will reflect the area’s needs.
We are seeking your input to determine the current and future use of the playspace and any preferences/inclusions that are important to you.
The feedback gathered from the consultation help us decide on what we do to best utilise this space.
The three options available to choose from are:
- Renewal of the local play space with traditional play equipment such as swings, slides etc
- Nature play space including timber play elements
- Green, passive open space for throwing down a picnic blanket, kicking a ball around etc with park furniture
We want you to give your input
You are invited to submit your feedback between Monday 11 November and Monday 9 December 2024. Click here to fill out the survey.
Next Steps
All feedback received will be considered in the process of finalising the design and determining the next steps of the project. Council will communicate the design plans as they progress.
